The Michael Magro Foundation
(www.michaelmagrofoundation.com)
was founded by Terry and Paul Magro
in January of 2005 to honor the
life of their late son, Michael.
I first met Terry and Paul
Magro in 2003 as patients who
were referred to my dental
practice. I had no idea of
the fortitude of these individuals
as both of their sons within four
months time would be diagnosed
with cancer - Michael with
Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia
and Marc with Non-Hodgkins
Lymphoma. Michael died at age
13, a young man who loved life,
his family and friends. During
his illness, his courage and
strength were a source of inspiration
to all who knew him-especially
his younger brother Marc who
continues his struggle today.
The Magro foundation supports
a number of great causes for
the care of children with cancer.
